Bride arrested at wedding reception
A BRIDE'S dream day was spoiled when she was arrested for allegedly attacking her husband.
Teresa Brown spent a weekend in the cells after police were called to the hotel where she and Mark Allerton, 40, were holding their wedding reception.
Brown, 33, appeared from custody at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday where she denied assault to injury, vandalism and breach of the peace. She was remaned on bail until July.
The couple were married at Ardverikie Estate in the Highlands, where the television series Monarch of the Glen is filmed.
Ms Brown, from Aberdeen, said: "I am very sorry for what happened. We just want to get on with our life."
